This painting was created based on my childhood memory of growing up in Japan where I saw sunflowers during summer time. Those sunflowers were much taller than me as a little girl and I wanted to show the nostalgic atmosphere in my painting. An art print of Sunflowers is reproduced from an original watercolor painting.
